Assist when needed with the new hire orientation program, including preparation of offer letters, scheduling, and facilitation of new hire paperwork and on-boarding process for new employees.Ensure employee safety, wellness, health, and happiness.Conduct performance reviews with department managers & monitor employee productivity and performance results.Implement HR policies & programs as required by the business.Ensures compliant completion of I-9, W-4, and new hire packets.Capability to interact with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing environment, while maintaining an approachable and appropriate demeanor.Assist in vineyard safety inspections in the field.Assist in the management of the overall Safety program.Ensure that communication is sent to employees upon benefit eligibility Assist in the administration of the benefits program, including but not limited to initial eligibility, changes to benefit selection, payroll deductions, and communication with the carrier.Assists office with administrative tasks.Share in responsibility for accurate data entry and maintenance of all areas of the HRIS system for new hires, leave of absences, benefits, changes to employee’s employment, personal and payroll profiles.Handle any payroll-related inquiries with staff and management.Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and discretion in dealing with confidential, sensitive issues and projects.Calculates and prints checks on a weekly basis.Responsible for reviewing payroll accuracy by running payroll reports.Including reviewing timesheets, preparing and calculating both hours and the accuracy of specific tasks Enters payroll time records in the AgCode program on a daily basis.Process payroll data in a timely manner.Serves as the initial point of contact for general inquiries directed to the Human Resources department from employees.Training in some areas is expected and will be provided as needed.
